Baked Macaroni and Cheese:
Cook pasta in salted boiling water.
Melt butter in a large pan over low heat, cook with onion (half an onion, chopped) for five minutes. Stir in 3 tblspoons of flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of milk. Return to the heat and stir until sauce boils and thickens, then reduce to simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in 2 teaspoons of mustard and add about 5 oz of cheddar cheese. I also used some macaroni and cheese brand powder because I love the flavor.
Finally mix in the pasta. Take off the heat and spoon everything into a dish for baking. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and about 3 oz of cheddar cheese onto the top (and if inclined, the remaining mac n cheese powder).
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
